Reviewing your Reframer observations

Reframer is currently in beta, which means this content is too! We'll do our best to update it promptly as improvements are made. Thanks for your patience and feedback as we work on making Reframer awesome. Notice something that needs work? Please email support@optimalworkshop.com.

Tidying up your observations

Once your session is over, take a deep breath and give yourself a pat on the back — great job!

This is also a good time to take a look over your observations and ensure everything is in order before you go to analyze your data. Use the ‘Review’ tab to look over your notes whilst the session is still fresh in your mind.

This is also the best time to go through and start tagging your observations.

Filtering observations

To help review your data, you can filter your starred observations or use the keyword search to identify observations..

You can search by keywords used in your observations, by the person who wrote the observation, or by the tags used.

Editing observations

Use this as an opportunity to fix typos or add any additional data that you may not have had time to include in the heat of the moment.

You can edit your observations by clicking directly into the observation. You can also delete an observation if it isn’t useful, or star it if it’s particularly significant.

Tagging

Adding tags to your observations after your sessions will give you the time and flexibility to ensure your tags are as relevant and useful as possible.

The more accurate and refined your tags are, the more meaningful your results will be.

You can tag individual observations by selecting them and clicking on the relevant tags, or multi-select and tag several observations at once. You can also remove a tag from an observation by clicking the cross icon to the right of the tag's name.

If you find that you'd really like to rename, group, merge or flat out delete a tag from all observations forever, you can do that too. Click the 'Edit tags' link to pop open the tag manager.

Here you have the same options you had on the ‘Overview’ screen without having to leave your session.  Just be aware that great power comes with great responsibility as changes you make here will apply to the entire study (all sessions) and not just the one you're currently in.
