Participant recruitment is available for card sorting, tree testing, prototype testing, first-click testing, and surveys.

Standard recruitment is effective when you want fast, pain-free responses with minimal effort.

You can access our recruitment service through your account or on the Recruit tab in your study.

You can choose from a standard variety of recruitment demographics:

The order form will then calculate the price and allow you to order the participants using your saved payment method.

Once your order is complete, you may request any replacement participants as necessary.

Advanced recruitment is effective when you want to target a specific audience.

We offer a large variety of profiling options, allowing you to recruit from both B2C and B2B audiences.

To get started, fill out our request form and one of our specialists will get back to you. You can also find this request form in the 'Recruit' tab of any study.

Standard recruitment is immediate, we aim for your order to fulfil within 1-3 days.

Advanced recruitment requires our team to build each custom order and ensure you are happy with it. Once the order is placed, we aim for you to receive all of your participant responses within 3-5 business days.

You can use any Participant recruitment credits in your account to purchase Standard or Advanced recruitment services.

Standard recruitment orders allow you to purchase 1 participant per 1 credit. If you don't have credits available, you can purchase the recruitment via card when you place your order.

Advanced recruitment orders allow you to purchase US$10 worth of recruitment per 1 credit. If you don't have credits available, you can purchase the recruitment via invoice.

Optimal Workshop does not currently offer moderated recruitment services at this time. All our recruitment services are for use along with our unmoderated research tools (that’s all of them, except for our Qualitative Insights tool!)

It is required that all participants remain anonymous. This means that it is not possible to request any personally identifiable information in your study.

We do not automatically collect any participant information that you have not explicitly requested in your study.

If you wish to know the demographics of your participants (e.g. age, gender, occupation), ensure to add questions to your study to gather this information.

You can then segment your results using their answers!
