Admin Workspace settings, controls, and usage tracking for Enterprise

Learn about the settings and controls available to admins on Enterprise study limit / usage-based plans.

Updated today

Admins on Enterprise annual study limit plans can maintain control and visibility across their organization with enhanced admin capabilities, enabling predictable planning, stronger governance, and confident study usage across large teams.

With these tools, admins can confidently manage study limits, users, and Workspaces at scale.

Admins can:

  • Set a default annual study limit for all Workspaces

  • Allocate custom study limits by Workspace, with visibility into usage, remaining studies, and overages

  • Track usage through a dedicated reporting dashboard

  • Control who can create shared Workspaces and invite users

  • Set a default Workspace for all new users

  • See study limit expiry reminders

Admins can find these new features under:

  • Workspace Settings > Plans

  • Workspace Settings > Users and Licenses

  • Workspace Settings > Workspace Summary

In this help doc, we'll run these Workspace Settings tabs and the controls available in each.

Plans Tab

The Plans tab provides a high-level overview of your organization’s subscription. Here, admins can quickly see:

  • What's included in your plan

  • Number of users

  • Total annual study limit

  • Studies remaining

  • Breakdown between shared and individual Workspaces

  • Participant recruitment credit balance, with an option to purchase additional

Users and Licenses Tab

This tab provides visibility into users and license across the organization. From here, admins can:

  • Invite users

  • Revoke licenses

  • View high-level usage per user, including first sign-up and last login

In addition, there are two toggleable settings:

  • Allow users to create new Workspaces

By default, users land in a shared Workspace when they log in. This setting controls whether users can create additional Workspaces outside of the shared one.

  • Allow users to invite other users

This setting allows or prevents users from inviting others to a Workspace.

Note: To support multiple Workspaces, SAML SSO must be set up in advance. Even if this option is enabled, only users with authorized domains will be able to access additional Workspaces.

Workspaces Summary Tab

The Workspaces Summary tab provides a centralized view of your organization’s annual study allowance, including:

  • Total studies available under the current plan

  • Studies used and remaining

  • A list of all Workspaces belonging to the organization

This tab introduces three key capabilities:

  • Default Workspace study limit

Shows how many studies each Workspace can launch within an annual subscription period. Users can always create unlimited draft studies, but once the study launch limit is reached, no further studies can be launched in that Workspace.

  • Workspace-level study limit overrides

Allows admins to override the default limit for specific Workspaces. For example, a shared Workspace where most research happens can have a higher limit than individual Workspaces.

  • Default shared Workspace selection

Set or change the shared Workspace where all newly signed-up users will land by default.
