Data, privacy, and security for AI in Optimal

Learn about the measures in place to keep your data secure and private.

Updated this week

At Optimal, we’re dedicated to the highest standards of data security and privacy across our platform, including our AI capabilities. By using AWS Amazon Bedrock, we ensure that AI at Optimal is supported with industry-leading protection and compliance.

Amazon Bedrock adheres to industry-leading standards for compliance, including: ISO, SOC, CSA STAR Level 2, and GDPR. Learn more about Amazon Bedrock.

Amazon Bedrock is a FedRAMP High authorized service in the AWS GovCloud (US-West) Region. FedRAMP High authorized with the highest level of security certification provided under the Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program (FedRAMP) for cloud services used by U.S. federal agencies.

Amazon Bedrock uses encryption to protect data at rest and data in transit.

The AI capabilities in Optimal are separated by customer and the data you submit to AI will not be used to train other AI models.

  • Limited Use: You control the data you submit and it will only be used within the scope of your chosen study.

  • No External Model Training: Our AI model does not use your data to train other models.

  • Ownership: You own all Customer Data outputs generated by our AI model.

Using AI in our platform does not increase data, security, or privacy risk because all of Optimal’s processing happens securely within AWS, the same environment we use for all our services.

Whether features are powered by our code or AWS AI (Bedrock), your data never leaves AWS, isn’t used for model training, and remains protected by the same encryption, access controls, and compliance standards.
