This feature will allow you to easily record participants completing a prototype test. Capture screens, audio, and video and take note of valuable nonverbal cues like eye rolls and frustration—offering you richer insights into the user experience.

Video recording will use browser technology, so it’s easy to add on to your tests with no set up required. We have built this feature using AWS as our API provider for video and screen recording technology.

A few notes for the closed beta release:

  • Browser Compatibility: To ensure the best experience with Video Recording for Prototype Testing, please reference our list of supported browsers and operating systems. Note that this feature may not work with some older browsers.

  • Mobile Usability: Video Recording is optimized for studies conducted on desktop for our closed beta. Capturing screen sharing on mobile devices is not available.

  • Video Recording Quality: Recordings will be captured in high definition (1080p) to give you a clear view of each session.

  • Study Language Support: The closed beta currently supports studies conducted in English, with additional language support being developed for general release.
