Introduction to video recording and our future roadmap

Find out more about what’s available now and what’s coming next.

Updated over a week ago

Video recording is currently available via our closed beta. If you are an admin on a Teams or Enterprise plan, you can register your interest in the beta via this form.

Video recording will allow users to record participants completing a prototype test. With video recording, you can take note of screens and voices, as well as valuable nonverbal cues like eye rolls and frustration, to better understand user experiences.

Screen, audio, & camera recording can each be set as optional, required, or off for each study. Note that screen recording is not available on mobile.

After your participant has completed a video recording, you’ll be able to view the recording along with the participant's result (direct success, indirect success, direct failure, or indirect failure), time taken per task, and number of clicks and misclicks on the Recordings tab under Results > Analysis.
