Starting from 24 April 2024, new Optimal customers will no longer have access to the free plan. Instead, they can take advantage of a 7-day free trial to try out and assess the Optimal Workshop products. Throughout the 7-day trial period, users can invite up to 9 team members to evaluate the tools. Once the trial period ends, all users will lose access to the account, including study results, until they upgrade to a paid subscription.

Starting from 17 July 2024, customers who do not renew their subscription will no longer be automatically moved to a Free plan. Access to studies and data will be locked. To regain access, users will need to upgrade to a paid subscription. Data will be stored for 90 days, and after this time it will be archived.

On 22 July 2024 Optimal updated the pricing plans, introducing Individual and Individual+ and removing Starter, Pro, and Pay per Study from our offering.

The Individual plan is designed for individual users who need to conduct regular card sorts or tree tests. The Individual+ plan is a great option for individuals with broad UX research needs. The team plan is designed for small teams to collaborate on their research and the enterprise plan is for large organizations that need to scale research across teams, with high levels of security and privacy requirements.

From 22 July 2024 these Legacy plans are no longer available for new customers, and have be replaced with new pricing plans outlined here. Optimal will be contacting existing customers as their subscriptions come up for renewal to outline their new plan options.
